The Port of Aarhus is a deep-sea port located on the Baltic Sea in Denmark's city of Aarhus.
The system will be designed to allow four container ships to connect to the shore power unit at the same time, Port of Aarhus Authority said.
The authority also confirmed that other Nordic ports, including Gothenburg, Bremerhaven and Stockholm, are expected to introduce shore power facilities for container ships by 2030 as part of the EU's larger “OPS Network” project.
