ADNOC L&S takes delivery of second ethane dual-fuel vessel

AW Shipping has taken delivery of its second ethane dual-fuel Very Large Ethane Carrier (VLEC), the Gas Mingjiang, from China’s Jiangnan Shipyard—the second of nine such vessels under construction.

The ship can operate on both ethane and conventional marine fuels.

AW Shipping, a joint venture between UAE’s ADNOC Logistics & Services and China’s Wanhua Chemical, received its first vessel, the Gas Yongjiang, in August.
