ADNOC takes delivery of sixth LNG dual-fuel carrier

ADNOC Logistics and Services (ADNOC L&S), a unit of the UAE state-owned oil company Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, has received its sixth and final LNG dual-fuel carrier from Jiangnan Shipyard.

The vessel, Al Taweelah, has a capacity of 175,000 cbm and is capable of operating on both LNG and conventional marine fuels.

Beyond this completed series of six LNG carriers, ADNOC L&S continues to expand its fleet. Its orderbook includes seven very large ethane carriers (VLECs) and four very large ammonia carriers (VLACs) through AW Shipping - a joint venture with Wanhua Chemical Group. In parallel, the company has also placed orders for eight additional LNG carriers with Samsung Heavy Industries and Hanwha Ocean.
