Green ammonia production capacity of the plant is expected to be 1,000-1,500 mt/day, equivalent to roughly 365,000-547,500 mt/year.
This plant will be built at Aker Horizons' green industrial Kvandal site in Narvik and is scheduled to commence operation in 2028.
The Narvik Green Ammonia project will explore “collaboration with possible offtakers in Norway, for example within the maritime industry,” said the joint statement.
