Alpha Gas takes delivery of second LPG dual-fuel gas carrier

Greek shipowner Alpha Gas has taken delivery of its second LPG-capable dual-fuel very large gas carrier.

The 88,000-cbm Energy Guardian is designed to carry LPG as cargo while also using it as fuel for propulsion.

The operator has not disclosed where the vessel will be deployed.

It is the second vessel of its type in Alpha Gas' fleet, with two more sister vessels scheduled for delivery through next year.
