Auramarine has partnered with the Netherlands-based logistics service provider A2B-online to provide the methanol safety systems. The systems will guarantee the safe operation of the vessels, help detect potential gas leaks, and meet safety regulations.
The systems will be delivered to the Sedef Shipyard in the first half of 2025.
Both container ships will operate between the Netherlands and the UK, along the Moerdijk-Immingham route.
The methanol-capable vessels will also be shore power-enabled and equipped with battery capacity.
