Rotterdam’s B30-VLSFO (POMEME) price has increased by $19/mt in the past week.

The port’s conventional VLSFO price has risen by a greater $36/mt over the same period.

Rotterdam’s B30-LSMGO (POMEME) price has gained $48/mt in the past week, supported by an $84/mt increase in the port’s conventional LSMGO price.

Prima Markets-assessed POMEME and UCOME barge prices have surged by $48/mt, to $1,825/mt and $1,755/mt, respectively. The increase in feedstock prices may have provided additional support.

Rotterdam’s B100 bunker price has dropped by $21/mt over the same period.

Gibraltar’s B30-VLSFO (UCOME) price has surged $121/mt in the past week. Comparatively, the port’s conventional VLSFO price has increased by just $20/mt.

This has increased Gibraltar’s B30-VLSFO premium over conventional VLSFO by $101/mt to $403/mt.

Lisbon’s B30-VLSFO price has increased by $33/mt in the past week and moved to a steep $85/mt discount to Gibraltar's. The prices were at a similar level last week.

B100 is priced at $1,779/mt in Portugal’s Sines.

Asia

Singapore’s B30-VLSFO (UCOME) price has increased $21/mt in the last week.

Comparatively, the port’s conventional VLSFO price has increased by just $8/mt.

China’s UCOME cargo price, which can influence biofuel bunker prices in Singapore, has dropped $15/mt in the last week, as assessed by Prima Markets.

Singapore’s bio-blended bunker sales rose by 6% in July to 38,000 mt, marking an increase after declining for three consecutive months, data showed.

In other biofuel bunker news, Vitol Bunkers supplied 247 mt of VLSFO co-processed with cashew nutshell liquid (CNSL) to the Scion Mathilda in Singapore. The fuel was procured by Olam Agri’s ocean freight business.

Sunoil Biodiesel said its inland barge Birjo II has been operating on B100 since it was converted to operate on that fuel in May.
