Blue Energy Partners, formerly Global Fuel Supply, moved into physical bunkering in addition to its original marine fuel trading focus.
It now operates bunker barges in West Africa and supplies ISCC-certified biofuels, it said.
Part of the double-digit million-dollar financing package secured through agreements with two global partners will be used to finance new vessels and help the company expand its physical supply operations.
The Copenhagen-based supplier did not disclose the amount allocated specifically to physical operations, the financing partners, the number or type of vessels involved, or where it plans to expand supply.
