BP and Aberdeen Harbour targets a yearly production of 292,000 mt from a hydrogen facility that will be powered by a solar farm. The partners will initially inject £3 million ($3.91 million) in funding.
"Through further investment, we could see hydrogen production scaled up in future phases to supply larger volumes of green hydrogen for rail, freight and marine," BP says.
