British tanker operator orders four LNG-capable tankers

UK-based tanker owner James Fisher and Sons ordered four LNG-capable dual fuel tankers from China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng in China.

Dual-fuel means that the tankers will be capable of running on LNG, along with conventional fuels.
The new tankers will carry oil products and IMO Class II chemicals, the company said. IMO Class II chemicals include hazardous chemicals, like ethanol and methanol.
The vessels are scheduled to be delivered towards the end of this year.
