The duo will initially focus on opportunities in North America and Europe, wherein trials of B20 and B30 biofuel blends are undergoing.
This agreement will further strengthen the supply of alternative fuels and deepen our knowledge on biofuels, says Bunker Holding chief commercial officer Christoffer Berg Lassen.
REG intends to expand its biofuels product offering to cater to higher demand for greener fuels in the marine fuel market.
Last year in May, Bunker One, a subsidiary of Bunker Holding, conducted a test run of a B30 biofuel blend on its tanker vessel M/T Amak Swan.
