Burando Energies completes first physical bunker delivery in Norway

Bunker supplier Burando Energies has supplied an undisclosed volume of marine gasoil (MGO) to Dutch marine contractor Heerema Marine Contractors’ heavy-lift vessel Balder in Åmøyfjorden, Norway.

The vessel was supplied using an oceangoing bunker barge, a Burando Energies representative told ENGINE.

The operation marks Burando Energies’ first physical bunker supply in Norway.

The supplier will offer MGO, HVO and HVO/gasoil blends along Norway’s west coast, “from say Kristiansand to Ålesund,” the representative added.
