BYD takes delivery of second LNG dual-fuel car carrier

Chinese automaker BYD has received its second LNG dual-fuel car carrier from Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI), a subsidiary of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation.

The vessel BYD Zhengzhou has a capacity of up to 7,000 vehicles and is equipped to run on both LNG and conventional marine fuels.

The company has not yet revealed where the vessel will be deployed.

Earlier, in January, it received its first LNG dual-fuel car carrier, BYD Hefei, from GSI.
