The deals were signed with a major global container shipping company, whose name remains undisclosed.
Under the first contract, Cavotec will retrofit its shore power systems onto existing vessels operating between Asia, the US, and Europe. Deliveries are set to begin this year and continue through the end of 2026.
The second contract covers the installation of shore power systems on newbuild container vessels, with deliveries expected to start in the latter half of 2026.
Cavotec did not provide additional details about the agreements, including the number of vessels involved.
