Ceuta bunker barge resumes operations

The bunker barge SPABunker Cuarenta has resumed operations in Ceuta today after its services were suspended due to bad weather last week, according to shipping agent Jose Salama & Co.

The barge halted operations on Tuesday last week. The port witnessed strong winds and heavy rains in the past week. 

Ceuta port faced some congestion over the weekend, said Jose Salama & Co. Congestion has eased slightly today with five vessels due to arrive for bunkers and one vessel currently waiting to receive stem in the anchorage area. 

Availability of VLSFO and LSMGO is currently good in the port, and suppliers can offer prompt delivery for both grades.
