This is the firm’s first onshore methanol bunkering operation, Hong Kong-based bunker supplier China Pan Nation Petro-Chemical (Chimbusco) said.

The methanol was delivered to the NCL VESTLAND via a truck-to-ship filling operation that took roughly 2.5 hours.

The delivery was done using a mobile methanol filling skid jointly developed by Chimbusco Jiangsu and COSCO. The device facilitates unloading and refuelling tasks and has a rapid bunkering speed of 180 cbm/hour.
