CIMC SOE wins contract for LNG bunkering vessel

Chinese shipbuilder Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering (CIMC SOE) has won a contract from an undisclosed European shipowner to build a 6,000 cbm LNG bunkering vessel.

The vessel will be used to provide LNG bunkering services to ships at European ports, according to CIMC SOE.

In February, CIMC SOE secured new orders for three LNG bunkering vessels—two with a capacity of 20,000 cbm and one with a capacity of around 19,000 cbm.
