Construction has begun on the first vessel, Orca Fisher, with three more to follow — Narwhal Fisher, Tiger Fisher, and Dolphin Fisher, the company said.
All four vessels are being built by China Merchants Industry Yangzhou Dingheng Shipyard (YZDH) and will feature dual-fuel engines capable of running on both LNG and conventional marine fuels.
Scheduled to join James Fisher’s fleet starting in early 2026, these vessels are designed to meet the growing long-term demand for mid-sized ships in the North-West Europe coastal shipping market.
