CPC started accepting oil tankers yesterday after inspecting the floating hoses and single-point moorings, the company said. The company operates a 1,511 km long pipeline that connects oilfields in West Kazakhstan with the marine terminal in Novorossiysk, Russia.

The company noted damages in one of its three floating hoses at the terminal that were taken out of service. CPC is currently delivering shipments through the remaining two single-point moorings, the company said.

“There is no oil spill, no conditions exist to cause an emergency, and there is no threat to community, flora and fauna of the Black Sea,” CPC added.
