Crowley adds fourth LNG-capable ship to its fleet

The Torogoz is the last in Crowley’s series of four LNG-capable containerships and will operate on routes between the US and El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.

The 1,400 TEU LNG-capable container ship Torogoz began sailing on 12 August, departing from Port Everglades, Florida, on its first commercial voyage to Central America.

It will join its sister ships Tiscapa, Quetzal, and Copán, which are already in service.

However, the company has not shared any additional details about the vessel, including its builder.
