Cruise ship bunkers B30 biofuel in IJmuiden

FincoEnergies supplied an unspecified amount of marine biofuel blend to a cruise ship operated by Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) at IJmuiden in the Netherlands.

The B30 biofuel blend comprised 30% waste-based biofuel and 70% conventional marine fuel, according to FincoEnergies.  The conventional fuel used for blending has not been disclosed by the company.

The vessel Norwegian Dawn received the B30 stem while it was docked at the IJmuiden Cruise Terminal.
