Dutch tanker operator orders methanol-fuelled vessels

Rotterdam-based Tune Chemical Tankers (TCT) has ordered two 16,000-dwt methanol-powered chemical tankers from Turkey's Tersan Shipyard.

Delivery of the first vessel is scheduled for 2025.

The agreement also allows TCT to place orders for two additional methanol-fuelled tankers from Tersan Shipyard at any time in the future.
