EPS orders two LNG dual-fuel tankers from China

Singapore-based Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has ordered two LNG dual-fuel crude oil tankers from Hengli Shipbuilding (Dalian), a subsidiary of China’s Guangdong Songfa Ceramics.

The 157,000 DWT tankers will be equipped with engines that can operate on both LNG and conventional marine fuels.
According to Guangdong Songfa Ceramics’ filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the order also covers six 306,000-DWT VLCCs and four 6,000-TEU container ships.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027 and continue through 2028.
