EPS takes delivery of three LNG dual-fuel bulk carriers

Singapore-based global shipping company Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has taken delivery of three LNG dual-fuel bulk carriers from China’s Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding.

Named Mount Victoria, Mount Yulong and Mount Wuyi, the vessels are equipped with dual-fuel engines capable of operating on either LNG or conventional marine fuels.

The three vessels are the third, fourth and fifth of 14 ships being built by Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding for the company, EPS chief executive Cyril Dacau said.

EPS has not disclosed further details about the vessels, including their intended deployment.
