UPDATE: FAMOIL and Monjasa deliver second bio-bunker stem in Peru

Global marine fuel supplier Monjasa and Peru-based Fuel and Marine Oil (FAMOIL) have completed their second bio-bunker delivery at Port of Callao in Peru.

On Sunday, the duo supplied 807 mt of B30 marine biofuel blend to the Panama-flagged bulk carrier Pacific Nexus. The B30 blend contained 30% biofuel derived from used cooking oil methyl ester (UCOME) and 70% VLSFO.

FAMOIL has previously supplied the International Sustainability Carbon Certification (ISCC)-certified B30-VLSFO blend in the port.

In February, the duo supplied a B30 stem, composed of 30% fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) and 70% VLSFO.

Monjasa and FAMOIL aim to supply 12,000–15,000 mt/month of ISCC-certified biofuel blends in Peru.
