Fincantieri delivers second LNG dual-fuel cruise ship to Princess Cruises

Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has delivered the second LNG dual-fuel cruise ship to US-based Princess Cruises in Monfalcone, Italy.

The 178,000 gross tonne (GT) vessel, Star Princess, can run on both LNG and conventional marine fuels. It can accommodate about 4,300 people, Fincantieri said.

The new vessel will join its sister ship, Sun Princess, delivered by the shipbuilder in 2024.
