FincoEnergies acquires stake in Dutch bunker supplier

Netherlands-based biofuels supplier FincoEnergies has announced the acquisition of a stake in compatriot bunker fuel supplier Oliehandel Klaas de Boer.

This acquisition will strengthen FincoEnergies’ presence in the Dutch bunkering market, positioning it as a leading biofuels supplier, the company said.

Klaas de Boer operates in several Dutch ports, including Amsterdam, IJmuiden, Beverwijk, Eemshaven, Delfzijl, Harlingen and Lauwersoog.

It also operates in Emden in Germany, and runs support locations in Den Helder and Scheveningen along the Dutch coast.

The partial buy-out strengthens FincoEnergies’ presence along the Dutch coastline and “expands its storage capacity, and enhances the security of supply for its customers,” the biofuels supplier added.
