The 600 megawatt-hours (39 mt) LNG stem was supplied to the Mercedes Pinto by two trucks operating simultaneously.

The fuel was supplied by Spanish supplier ESK Gas.

The operation marked the first truck-to-ship LNG bunkering of a vessel in the Canary Islands, Juan Cabrera Ferrer, LNG bunkering manager at Baleària, said in a social media post.
