FIS: Fuel Oil Daily Evening Report

September 7, 2022

Singapore’s front- to second-month HSFO spread came off today, slipping by almost $2/mt from its previous settlement to close at $3.50/mt.

Rotterdam’s HSFO barge crack printed -$26.90/bbl on the UK close, which was down $0.70/bbl from its previous settlement.

In physical bunker markets, the European hub of Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp is showing ongoing signs of limited availability of HSFO as the market is missing Russian barrels after sanctions.

There was very low liquidity or colour in Rotterdam’s VLSFO barge market today with only four trades across the entire session.
