FIS: Fuel Oil Daily Evening Report

Singapore’s front- to second-month VLSFO spread climbed a good deal today, coming up by $3.75/mt from its previous settlement to print $15.00/mt. The second- to third-month spread followed suit, strengthening by $2.50/mt on the day.
We saw more trading in Rotterdam’s spreads today than in previous days, but liquidity still remained lower than for Singapore’s spreads. Rotterdam’s front- to second-month spread rose by $2/mt to settle at $10.25/mt.
Rotterdam’s front-month HSFO barge crack narrowed slightly today, to close at -$27.45/bbl.
