FIS: Fuel Oil Daily Evening Report

With the crude prices falling, Rotterdam’s front-month HSFO barge crack rose by nearly $2/bbl to close at ­-$24.95/bbl.

On the contrary, low sulphur cracks fell on the day. Singapore’s front-month VLSFO crack went down by almost $1/bbl from yesterday’s settlement to print $12.35/bbl today. Rotterdam’s equivalent crack closed $0.30/bbl lower on the day, at $4.35/bbl.

The front-month HSFO East-West contract traded in a $3/mt range today, and closed higher on the day at -$13.75/mt.
