FIS: Fuel Oil Daily Evening Report 8 Dec 2023

Fuel cracks were fairly stable today, trading at near flat levels with Thursday’s settlements as we approach the European market close. Jan24 figures are as follows:

• Singapore VLSFO crack: $10.10/bbl ($0.0­5/bbl)
• Rotterdam VLSFO crack: $3.50/bbl ($0.­20/bbl)
• Rotterdam HSFO crack: ­$11.40/bbl (flat)

The extreme volatility that we have seen in the prompt VLSFO complex over the last three weeks certainly seems to have cooled down now.
