FLEX Commodities launches physical bunker supply operations in Namibia

Dubai-headquartered FLEX Commodities has started physical bunker supply operations in Walvis Bay, Namibia.

It will deliver VLSFO and LSMGO using the bunker barge Splendour Opal, with availability both at the anchorage and offshore. Offshore supply will require 48 hours’ notice and a bunkering permit from Namibia’s Directorate of Maritime Affairs.

The operation is being carried out in partnership with GAC Investment.

Walvis Bay lies on Namibia’s central Atlantic coast, positioned along key West African shipping routes.
