Fratelli Cosulich launches second methanol bunker vessel

Bunker supplier Fratelli Cosulich launched the IMO Type 2 vessel Lucia Cosulich at Taizhou Maple Leaf Shipyard in China earlier this week.

An IMO Type 2 vessel is built to carry moderately hazardous chemicals in accordance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations. The vessel will therefore be able to deliver methanol or pure B100 biofuels to receiving ships.

The Lucia Cosulich is the second of four sister vessels ordered, the marine fuels supplier said.

Fratelli Cosulich received the first vessel of the series, Anna Cosulich, in February.
