FueLNG completes 200th LNG bunker operation in Singapore

Singapore-based LNG bunker supplier FueLNG completed its 200th ship-to-ship (STS) bunker operation with an LNG delivery to a CMA CGM container ship.

The bunkering was carried out using the FueLNG Venosa, an 18,500 cbm-capacity vessel, which transferred 9,000 cbm of LNG to CMA CGM's CMA CGM Bahia.

FueLNG made its 100th STS bunker delivery last October and its 150th in March this year.

The supplier claimed a 37% increase in LNG sales in May, reaching a record volume of around 49,000 mt. Total LNG bunker sales for the first five months of the year totalled 160,000 mt, marking a substantial rise from 19,000 mt sold during the same period last year.

FueLNG plans to expand its offerings by introducing bio-LNG and hydrogen-based e-LNG options.
