Fujairah bunker sales declined by 7% in November
Lower VLSFO and LSMGO sales contributed to drag down Fujairah’s total bunker sales by 7% in November, according to data compiled by Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ) and S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Changes in Fujairah bunker fuel sales from October to November:
- Total sales down by 7% to 600,000 mt
- VLSFO sales down by 9% to 404,000 mt
- HSFO sales up by 4% to 170,000 mt
- LSMGO sales down by 25% to 24,000 mt
Sales of the most sought-after product, VLSFO, declined by 42,000 mt to 404,000 mt in November. Around 13,000 mt/day of VLSFO was sold in November, which was about 1,000 mt/day less than in October.
In the same time period, LSMGO sales fell by 8,000 mt to 24,000 mt. On the other hand, HSFO sales in November were slightly up from the previous month.
The port’s total bunker sales for the first 11 months of the year were 7% lower compared to the same period last year, primarily due to less VLSFO and LSMGO sales.

- 0.08% VLSFO 180cst (0.07% YTD)
- 28% HSFO (24% YTD)
- 4% LSMGO (4% YTD)
- 0.34% of 0.50% MGO (0.16% YTD)
