Fujairah’s fuel oil inventories edged down in December

Fujairah’s residual fuel oil inventories averaged 2% lower in December than in November, according to the latest data from the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ) and S&P Global.

Changes in monthly average Fujairah stocks from November to December:

• Heavy distillate and residual stocks down 213,000 bbls to 11.02 million bbls
• Middle distillate stocks down 632,000 bbls to 2.57 million bbls

Fujairah’s heavy distillate and residual fuel oil inventories rose above 11 million bbls in December, though they remained lower than November levels.

Middle distillate inventories at the port also declined in December, averaging about 20% lower than the previous month.

Prompt bunker supply in Fujairah remains tight across all grades, with suppliers recommending lead times of 5–7 days.
