GFS launches bunker operations in West Africa's Angola

The marine fuel supplier will deploy its newly chartered bunker barge in Angola's Luanda.

The newly chartered 5,498-dwt bunker tanker RLO Explorer will be deployed at Luanda Anchorage, Global Fuel Supply (GFS) said in a social media post.

With the new launch in Luanda, GFS aims to supply its customers with short turnaround times and better customer support.

“We see tremendous opportunity for growth and expansion in the West African market,” said Bijan Shahbaz, GFS’ managing partner and COO.
