Hanwha Ocean orders four LNG dual-fuel engines

South Korean shipbuilder Hanwha Ocean has placed an order with German engine manufacturer MAN Energy Solutions (MAN ES) for four LNG dual-fuel engines.

Dual-fuel engines, capable of running on both LNG and conventional fuel oil, have been ordered for the construction of two LNG carriers, each with a capacity of 174,000 cbm. The contract also includes an option for two additional vessels.

However, Hanwha Ocean has not disclosed details about the shipowner or the delivery timeline.
