John T. Essberger completes its first bio-LNG bunkering in Finland

Finnish LNG supplier Rohe Solutions has supplied an unspecified quantity of bio-LNG to a John T. Essberger-operated vessel at Finland’s Port of Hamina.

The Port of Hamina-Kotka is a Baltic Sea port located on the northern shore of the Gulf of Finland.

This is its first bio-LNG bunkering, John T. Essberger said.

Rohe Solutions provides physical LNG and bio-LNG deliveries around the Gulf of Finland and the Gulf of Bothnia. The company offers bio-LNG blends of up to 100%, it added.

“Bunkering can be carried out from the Hamina LNG terminals and other ports using the truck to ship method,” the company said on its website.
