The bio-LNG stem was supplied to the car carrier Oceanus Highway.
This marked the company's first bio-LNG bunkering operation, K Line said.
The bio-LNG, certified under ISCC-EU standards, was sourced from renewable organic waste and residue.
However, the company has not disclosed further details about the delivery method or whether the bio-LNG was produced using a mass balance accounting approach.
Also known as liquefied biomethane (LBM), bio-LNG consists of around 99.8% methane. LNG-capable vessels can operate on pure LBM or LBM-LNG blends without requiring any modifications.
