K-Line delivers newbuilt dual fuel LNG carriers to Petronas LNG

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line) has added its two new dual-fuel LNG carriers to Petronas' LNG fleet.

The vessels, Puteri Johor and Puteri Kedah were delivered at the Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding Group’s shipyard on 29 May and 30 June, respectively.

The carriers are around 299 metres long and have a tank capacity of approximately 174,000 cbm. Both carriers are equipped with X-DF dual fuel low-speed diesel engines.

The two vessels will support Petronas LNG’s deliveries to its customers, K Line said.
