Lakeway Link signs B15 supply agreement with ScanOcean

Swedish marine fuel supplier ScanOcean will supply B15-LSMGO marine biofuel blend to one of Lakeway Link’s roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) vessels.

The B15-LSMGO blend consists of 15% hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO)-derived biofuel blended with 85% LSMGO, Lakeway Link said.

Under the agreement, ScanOcean will supply B15-LSMGO stems to Lakeway Link’s Ro-Ro vessel, M/S Lakeway Express. ScanOcean has not specified how much quantity of B15-LSMGO will be supplied or the tenure of the supply agreement.

The M/S Lakeway Express operates between Södertälje in Sweden and Gdynia in Poland. The bunker stems will be delivered to the vesselin Södertälje, it added.

ScanOcean recently announced that it has started supplying biofuel in Sweden. It has built an ex-pipe bunkering station in Södertälje for vessels transiting Lake Mälaren.
