Lauritzen Bulkers launches second methanol-capable newbuild

Danish dry bulk shipping company Lauritzen Bulkers has launched its second methanol-capable dual-fuel vessel at Tsuneishi Shipbuilding (Cebu) in the Philippines.

The 81,000-dwt bulk carrier, Bold Bulker, is expected to be delivered in January 2027, the company said.

Lauritzen has not disclosed who will charter the vessel or where it will be deployed.

The company has ordered three methanol-capable newbuilds from Tsuneishi Shipbuilding in Cebu, with the third and final vessel expected to join its fleet next year.
