On 14 March, the Shenwan port skid-mounted LNG bunkering station delivered its first LNG stem to a ship at a domestic trade terminal of Shenwan Port, according to Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau.

Shenwan's tank-based station delivers LNG using a skid-mounted refuelling system, which makes it easier to attach an LNG refuelling equipment and occupies less onshore space. The system uses cryogenic pumps to deliver LNG to ships.

The station has a daily LNG bunkering capacity of 30 mt, it said.

Currently, there are two LNG bunkering stations in the Zhongshan area.
