Maersk Tankers to set up decarbonisation hub

Maersk Tankers will launch a knowledge hub for shipping decarbonisation over the coming months.

The hub will bring in experts, shipowners, cargo customers and other stakeholders to develop a set of solutions aimed at lowering carbon emissions in shipping industry.

The so-called ‘decarbonisation hub’ “will gather and share external and internal intelligence on regulations and developments in tanker shipping’s decarbonisation and provide emission transparency on the transportation of cargoes,” says Maersk Tankers.
