The 174,000 cbm vessel is powered by a dual-fuel engine capable of running on LNG as well as conventional marine fuels. Th’ailib is the first of three newbuild LNG carriers secured by MISC under a 15-year long-term charter with QatarEnergy, commencing in 2026.
With the launch of Th’ailib and two more vessels due for delivery, MISC Group will continue to support QatarEnergy’s long-term LNG transportation requirements.
