MOL launches two LNG carriers under QatarEnergy charter

Japanese shipping giant Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) has launched a pair of LNG dual-fuel LNG carriers.

The LNG carriers, Rex Tillerson and Umm Ghuwailina, can run on both LNG and conventional marine fuel oil. It has been built by Chinese shipbuilders Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding.

The carriers have been chartered to QatarEnergy under long-term contracts as part of the company's fleet expansion strategy.
