The vessel, scheduled for delivery in 2027, will be equipped with a dual-fuel engine that can run on both LNG and conventional marine fuels.
It will operate under a long-term charter with the Japanese tanker company Idemitsu Tanker.
The vessel will be built by Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering, a Chinese shipbuilding firm jointly run by Japan's Kawasaki Heavy Industries and China COSCO Shipping Corporation.
