October 7, 2025

Energy firm Molgas has delivered an unspecified quantity of liquefied biomethane (LBM) to a United European Car Carriers (UECC) container ship at the French Port of Le Havre.

The fuel was supplied via trucks, according to Molgas’ social media post. The company has also obtained a long-term permit to begin regular bunkering operations in Le Havre, it added.

The Spanish bunker supplier did not disclose whether the bio-LNG used for the delivery was produced under a mass balance accounting system.

Earlier this year, Molgas delivered LBM at the Spanish Port of Sagunto, saying it is ready to supply LBM across multiple Spanish ports. It also acquired Titan Clean Fuels to expand LNG and liquefied biomethane (LBM) bunkering operations across Europe.
